In this fun and challenging class students will learn how to make a bezel setting for a cabochon stone (which has a flat bottom and rounded top). Stones will be available and included in the price. We will go over how to get a snug fit for the bezel, the basics of soldering, how to get a clean bond without melting your metal, general ring design, and embellishments like stamping or hammering.
This class works well for total beginners with no experience as well as people who have already been making jewelry and want a crash course on soldering.
Included Materials - All silver materials and stones are included in this workshop price, with the option of a brass backplate for a mixed metals look. A selection of stones will be available but you can feel free to bring your own as well. This class is limited to 4 people.

CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations and rescheduling must be done at least seven days ahead of your workshop date. Last minute cancellations and “no-shows” will not be refunded or rescheduled. If you are sick please stay home and send someone else to take your spot.
